After months of waiting, it will finally be active from April 30 the PIA Tourism. The main objective of the Integrated Tourism Facilitation Program (PIA) is to enhance what is already existing, without resorting to further construction. Therefore, undisputed protagonists of this unique opportunity will be properties of historical and artistic interest such as Masserie, Villas, Castles, Palaces, and everything that can be used for the construction of hotel and non-hotel accommodation facilities, revaluing the existing local real estate, respecting the beauty and history of these unique and characteristic realities of the territory. One of the expected outcomes of these investments is undoubtedly the deseasonalization of tourism.
The programs involve different types of investors, enterprises of all sizes, whose total amount of expenses and eligible costs will be between 5 and 40 million euros. Support is a direct non-repayable grant providing at least 50 percent of the entire investment including purchase.
