On the famous Nardò Ring, South African athlete Sibusiso Kubheka wrote a page of history, running 100 kilometers in 5 hours, 59 minutes and 20 seconds. Never before him had anyone managed to go under the 6-hour wall.
This record, achieved as part of Adidas' "Chasing 100" event, transformed the Salento city into an international showcase, demonstrating once again how the area can host unique events around the world.
The choice of Nardò is no accident. The Nardò Technical Center (NTC) is a world icon of engineering, a place where the most advanced automotive and motorcycle technologies have been tested for decades.
