The Baronial Palace Tre Masserie, known to locals as the "Castle," dates back to the dawn of the 16th century and has the appearance of a fortified residence presenting itself with an imposing sober facade. The name given to it probably derives from the crowning battlements on one part of it. Originally the epicenter of the property was allocated around the central structure that was a Masseria, built between the mid-17th and mid-19th centuries, the same includes a small chapel, finely crowned with fine frescoes. The structure of the property is easily demerged into three different units, all three with access from the road, especially a first unit that is located on two floors of 466SQM from which it is accessed through a historic gateway that leads into a courtyard of ample square footage. This unit features historic details such as wooden staircases, frescoes, an old oil mill and stone fireplaces. The second unit, formerly a Masseria, stands on two floors and is characterized by the presence of long rooms with vaulted ceilings, a splendid terrace as well as a historic frescoed little church. The third and last unit of about 400SQM consists of several commercial rooms on the ground floor with large vaulted and star vaults. The total area of the property is about 2000SQM as well as 2 hectares of land. This property falls under the canons of the calls for Mini PIA/PIA facilities of the Apulia Region.
